<p><b>Purpose of the Role</b></p><ul><li>Contributes to Directorates on a needs basis as determined by the Deputy Executive Director and/or Director School Effectiveness - Primary</li><li>Contributes to and promotes the development of a culture of reflection, self-review and continuous improvement that is integrated and supportive of School Leadership Teams and where appropriate classroom teachers</li><li>Contributes to and promotes an integrated service approach </li><li>Contributes to the work of and is primarily a member of the School Service Team (primary) with a focus on supporting schools to achieve their School Annual Improvement Plan and other priorities identified by schools</li><li>Supports the development of a variety of system processes and informs system discussion through a number of system forums</li><li>Provides support to the School Support Team in the area of Curriculum as determined by the Director School Effectiveness</li><li>Supports schools to build capacity, identify resources and expertise, and suggest and model evidenced-based strategies</li><li>Collaborates with schools and others to develop professional learning so that all staff have the opportunities to meet the requirements for accreditation in Catholic Schools</li><li>Contributes through shared leadership to the development and implementation of Strategic Directions across the entire Catholic Education Community – Diocese of Cairns</li><li>Develops self personally and professionally</li><li>Maintain appropriate behaviours when engaging with children</li></ul><p><b>Mandatory Qualifications and Requirements: </b></p><ul><li>Professional qualifications in Education</li><li>Completed extensive Post Graduate studies in education related disciplines </li><li>Extensive experience across a range of educational settings </li><li>Significant Senior Leadership experience as a member of a School Leadership Team </li><li>Experience working with system level working parties and groups </li><li>Registered or eligible to register with Queensland College of Teachers</li><li>Willingness to support and participate in the prayer, liturgy and sacramental life of the Church in the school community</li><li>Capacity to understand and implement Duty of Care and Workplace Health and Safety requirements</li><li>A strong demonstrated commitment to the objectives, vision and ethos of Catholic Education</li></ul><p><i>For further information and an application pack, please visit our website <a href="http://www.cns.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">www.cns.catholic.edu.au </a></i></p>
