A vacancy exists for an experienced Early Childhood Leader for a 122 place Centre, providing quality early childhood education.

<p>Grace Lutheran Crèche and Kindergarten, located in the heart of Redcliffe, is a 122 place Centre that has provided quality care and early childhood education for over 50 years to the local community through long day care and a double unit funded Kindergarten. Queensland Lutheran Early Childhood Services (QLECS) is seeking a full time non-contact Service Leader who can provide advanced leadership and management. The Service strives to encourage the spiritual, physical, emotional, social and cognitive developmental building blocks that support children with a foundation for successful learning. Grace Lutheran Creche and Kindergarten is a not-for-profit Service, an outreach of Grace Lutheran Church and is a feeder service to Grace Lutheran Primary School. </p><p><b>  About the position  </b></p><p>The Service Leader is responsible for the vision and mission of the Services. They are supported by full time receptionist, assistant Service Leader and Educational Leader. Their role is to oversee all areas of the Service’s operations with QLECS and consult with Grace Lutheran Church, Primary School/College, families and the wider community. Ensuring the Service meets all regulated requirements and striving towards excellence will be the main focus of the successful applicant. The Service Leader is the main facilitator for building strong relationships and connections between the family and the Service. Above Award conditions will be considered to the right applicant. </p><p>  <b>About you  </b></p><p>This opportunity would suit an applicant with previous experience in a leadership and management role within the early childhood sector who is passionate about supporting families and mentoring and coaching educators. </p><p>  <b>What you need  </b></p><p>• Commitment to the Christian ethos of the Lutheran Church </p><p>• A proven ability to develop and maintain trusting relationships and connections with families and the local community </p><p>• Advanced management and leadership skills </p><p>• Demonstrated experience working in a leadership role including mentoring educators and implementing work, health and safety practices </p><p>• Deep understanding of the National Quality Standards and Curriculum Frameworks </p><p>• Demonstrated financial management and budgeting skills </p><p>• Excellent customer relations skills </p><p>• Demonstrated skills to develop a positive work culture and successful teams </p><p>• Bachelor of Early Childhood (Preferred) or Diploma of Children Services (as a minimum) </p><p>• Current Working with Children Check, First Aid Qualifications, Child Protection Training </p><p><br /></p>
