Mathematics teacher for pathway College to University studies

The University of Adelaide College is seeking a teacher to deliver SACE Stage 2-equivalent Mathematics classes in its Foundation Studies program commencing in mid-February. This program provides Year 12 equivalent subjects for international students who subsequently continue to the University of Adelaide. The University of Adelaide College is the preferred pathway provider for the University of Adelaide, and classes are delivered either on College premises or on the campus of the University of Adelaide.

The College provides a supportive learning environment to give its students the maximum opportunity for success.

Teaching hours are currently between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday, and out-of-hours responsibilities are minimal. The college runs three cohorts: February to December, July to June and October to June.

The position may be on either a part-time or full-time basis. It is likely that the opportunity to adjust the teaching load will be available in subsequent intakes, of which there are several throughout the year. Although the position is primarily to teach Mathematics classes, the ability to teach other subjects, such as Physics or Computing Science, would be advantageous.

Applications, including a CV and brief cover letter, should be send to Mr Simon Dry, Academic Manager FSP, simon.dry@adelaide.edu.au
