Classroom teaching duties as directed by the College Principal
St Joseph’s College Lochinvar offers a Catholic co-education for students from Years 7-12.
St Joseph’s was founded in 1883 by the Sisters of St Joseph and is situated 10 minutes west of Maitland and 40 minutes from Newcastle via the Hunter Expressway.

<br>• sound knowledge of the Stage 4/5 PDHPE syllabuses and associated requirements
<br>• thorough understanding of assessment processes and the importance of productive feedback

<br>• capacity to engage a diverse range of students in learning so that they become successful independent learners
<br>• sound understanding of pedagogy and the changing nature of learners

<br>• ability to adopt a range of strategies in order to provide high quality ongoing pastoral care of students

<br>• excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
• be appropriately qualified as a four year trained teacher

Salary in accordance with New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2017.
