<p>The clerical administrator (Monday-Friday) contributes significantly to the Catholic identity and mission of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary as the initial point of contact for community members and visitors. The role of the Clerical Administrator is to contribute to the daily management of the school office. Applications are invited from suitably experienced Clerical Administrators Level 4 to work 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week.This position requires an energetic, organised and friendly person to join our school community. </p><p>The successful applicant will: </p><ul><li>be committed to the Church&#39;s mission in Catholic Education </li><li>have Post-secondary administration or other relevant qualification equivalent to Certificate III or IV or Diploma in administration, business, human resources or equivalent </li><li>Current working with Children Check Clearance</li><li>Completed qualification/subjects/courses in Microsoft Office, computing, typing, other programs, software and technology </li><li>Experience in customer/client service </li><li>Experience working with a range of computer systems/technology/software </li><li>have an understanding of accounting principles, practices and procedures </li><li>have highly effective interpersonal skills </li><li>have highly effective written and oral skills </li><li>be prepared to work collaboratively as a member of a team </li><li>Ability to respond to sensitive issues and maintain confidence </li><li>Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing school requirements and needs </li><li>be committed to ongoing professional learning </li><li>have had experience in working in a office environment </li><li>have a current First Aid certificate </li><li>be able to demonstrate experience working with parents, staff and children in the context of a school environment. </li></ul><p> Applicants are required to nominate three referees, one of whom must be a Priest and a School Principal or recent employer.</p><p>Start: Term 1, 2019 </p><p><br /></p>
