Christ the King Primary School are seeking a committed and motivated K-6 Primary School Teacher to join our innovative staff and community. This temporary fulltime position requires a commitment to Catholic Education and a love of teaching and learning.

The successful applicant will: <br>* Have a sound knowledge of and a commitment to the Church's mission in Catholic Education. <br>* Have been accredited to teach Religious Education in the Diocese of Parramatta <br>* Display effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others in building an inclusive learning community. <br>* Be familiar with current theory and best practice in teaching Literacy and Numeracy.<br>* Be effective in implementing the Focus 160 framework in both literacy and numeracy <br>* Demonstrate an ability to use assessment data to inform learning and teaching. <br>* Be able to evaluate all aspects of their teaching practice to ensure they are meeting the learning needs of their students. <br>* Have competence with the use of technology to enhance learning. <br>* Have effective classroom practice and student management. <br>* Be willing to participate in ongoing professional development. <br>* Be prepared to work collaboratively with a grade partner. <br>* Be able operate effectively at all stages of the teaching and learning cycle, including planning for learning and assessment, developing learning programs, teaching, assessing, providing feedback on student learning and reporting to parents/carers. <br>* Be able to value opportunities to engage with their school communities within and beyond the classroom to enrich the educational context for students and work to promote the links between school, home and community in the social and intellectual development of their students. <br>* Be able to evaluate all aspects of their teaching practice to ensure they are meeting the learning needs of their students, interpret and use student assessment data and challenge students to improve. <br> <br> Start: Term 1, 2019
