<p>St Patrick&#39;s College is seeking to appoint an experienced, organised and enthusiastic Learning Support teacher with excellent communication skills and classroom experience in supporting students with a variety of learning support.</p><p>The successful applicant will be committed to the Catholic ethos of the College and utilise effective learning and teaching strategies and technologies to enhance the 21st century pedagogy.</p><p><b>Essential Criteria</b><br /></p><ul><li>qualifications in the education of students with diverse learning needs</li><li>experience in teaching and supporting students with learning needs including the ability to manage special provisions</li><li>an ability to coordinate the individual planning process, including regular consultation with teachers, students and parents/carers</li><li>an ability to liaise with Sydney Catholic Schools in areas such as assessment and funding applications and familiarity with the &#39;Personal Planning Tool&#39;</li><li>a sound understanding of current educational research and learning styles, including learning technologies</li><li>an enthusiasm for working in a collaborative learning environment with demonstrated skills as a passionate educator with evidence of pedagogical innovation</li><li>an ability to work collaboratively to maximise student learning</li><li>a willingness to contribute to co-curricular activities within the school</li></ul><p>Applicants for the above position should provide their curriculum vitae as well as a written response to both the essential criteria and desirable criteria.  Applicants should supply the names, addresses and phone numbers of two referees.<br /></p>
