<p>We are seeking an innovative and energetic educator who is qualified to teach in our College in this temporary, full-time position for the entire academic year in 2019.<br /></p><p><b>Essential Criteria</b></p><p>Ability to teach Years 7 - 10 PDHPE and Year 11 Sports, Lifestyle and Recreation.</p><p>Degree appropriate teacher education qualification.</p><p>Recent, active substantial professional development in teaching in PDHPE.</p><p>Recent interest in or exposure to best practice pedagogy in PDHPE.</p><p>Energy and enthusiasm for raising levels of girls’ achievement in PDHPE.</p><p>Sound and thorough knowledge of NESA curricula across PDHPE and a willingness to build up the same.</p><p>A willingness to lead, administer and contribute to the extensive extra-curricular program the College offers.</p><p>High level of interpersonal skills.</p><p><b>Desirable criteria include</b></p><p>Accreditation to teach Religious Education with Sydney Catholic Schools.<br /></p><p>Bethany is a technology-rich school with a Newman Selective School stream. The ability to integrate technology into everyday learning and planning would be an advantage as is any credential in modifying curriculum to meet the needs of gifted and diverse learners from Years 7 to 12.</p> <p>Applicants are asked to submit their curriculum vitae and append any supporting documentation or letters.
