McCarthy Catholic College is a co-educational 7-12 Catholic Secondary College currently undergoing transformation with a focus on student centered contemporary teaching and learning practices.<br><br>The role of the Leader of Learning Mathematics at McCarthy Catholic College is to ensure that the Catholic mission of the College is supported through the curriculum dimensions of the role. As well as this, the Leader of Learning plays a critical role in the leadership of the College through modelling high expectations and quality learning and building the capacity of the KLA team. A leader able to be witness to the Catholic Faith is essential.<br>

• Desirable but not essential; experience in planning curriculum for Stage 5 iSTEM Mathematics<div>• Successful Stage 6 teaching experience with the capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and assessing</div><div>• An ability to design Maths Data Walls to display student learning progress</div><div>• A thorough knowledge, experience and a deep understanding of the Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta’s EM4 and EMU Focus to improve numeracy outcomes of students</div><div>• Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of dynamic Mathematics KLA team</div><div>• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents</div><div>• Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>A current CV must be submitted with two professional referees.</div><div>Current Working With Children’s Check is required.</div><div>The application can be submitted by either email to sclarke@parra.catholic.edu.au or post, and must be received by 5.00pm on the closing date.&nbsp;<br> <br> Start: 29/1/2019</div>
