The role includes: Classroom teaching load with coordinator release. Working collaboratively with classroom teachers and the leadership team. Supporting classroom pedagogy, professional learning and student achievement. Collecting, analysing and responding to school achievement data. Developing appropriate schoolwide authentic assessment strategies. Supporting effective, authentic classroom learning experiences including use of success criteria and learning intentions. Supporting professional learning, programs, planning and pedagogical practices in the classroom. Undertaking coordinator leadership and administrative responsibilities.
<p>Relevant qualifications and experience in teaching are essential and other criteria, as follows: </p><p>NESA Teacher Accreditation Number </p><p>Evidence of Working With Children </p><p>Knowledge of and commitment to the Mission of the Catholic School </p><p>Religious Education qualification according to SACS Board Policy </p><p>Experience leading or co-leading at least one curriculum area with at least 5 years teaching experience </p><p>Demonstrated high proficiency in Literacy and/or Numeracy with relevant Professional Learning in this area </p><p>Display effective interpersonal skills to collaboratively challenge and develop colleagues in their educational practice </p><p>Demonstrate effective student management strategies based on the Restorative Practices Framework </p><p>Commitment to ongoing learning as a member of a professional learning community </p><p><br /></p>
