<h4>About Youth&#43;</h4><p>Edmund Rice Education Australia Youth&#43; (EREA Youth&#43;) is a network of flexible learning centres that offer young people an opportunity to reconnect with education in a setting that is non-judgemental, inclusive and flexible. With a focus on literacy and numeracy, all programming and learning activities are developed based on young people’s individual learning plans which are customised based on learning levels and what they require to re-engage.</p><p>St Joseph&#39;s Catholic Flexible Learning Centre is a coeducational Catholic school in the Edmund Rice tradition under the EREA Youth&#43; Central West Flexi Schools Network. It has a clear commitment to social justice and stands in solidarity with disadvantaged and disengaged young people of all social, cultural and religious backgrounds, with a particular sensitivity to Indigenous culture. The school provides holistic learning experiences that address the social needs of students, and promotes their emotional, cognitive, spiritual and academic development.</p><h4>About the Opportunity</h4><p>EREA Youth&#43; now has an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a full-time Assistant Principal - Associate Head of Campus to join St Joseph&#39;s Catholic Flexible Learning Centre.</p><p>Reporting to the Campus Principal and the Network Principal, this pivotal leadership role will see you responsible for providing a supportive educational environment for secondary-aged students who have disengaged from mainstream education, encouraging a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.</p><p>More specifically, some of your key duties will include (but not be limited to):</p><ul><li>Collaborating with the Central West Network team, Campus Principal and Campus Executive Team, to bring to life the Strategic Plan and Annual Improvement Plans;</li><li>Assisting in the leadership of the day to day activities of the site, in cooperation with the Campus Principal, in keeping with operation by &#39;Principles&#39;, to enact all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and legislative requirements;</li><li>Supporting a socially inclusive program that responds to the physical, intellectual, social, spiritual and cultural needs of young people; and</li><li>In collaboration with the Head of Wellbeing, developing processes to work with families to improve student attendance and educational and wellbeing outcomes.</li></ul><p>For more information, to view the position description, or to apply, please go to <a href="http://applynow.net.au/jobs/103674" rel="nofollow">http://applynow.net.au/jobs/103674</a> </p><h4>About the Benefits</h4><p>This is a fantastic opportunity to become involved in a multidisciplinary and supportive workplace while reaping the incredible rewards that arise from the challenges faced day to day.
