<h4>About Youth&#43;</h4><p>Edmund Rice Education Australia Youth&#43; (EREA Youth&#43;) is a network of flexible learning centres that offer young people an opportunity to reconnect with education in a setting that is non-judgemental, inclusive and flexible. With a focus on literacy and numeracy, all programming and learning activities are developed based on young people’s individual learning plans which are customised based on learning levels and what they require to re-engage.</p><p>St Joseph&#39;s Catholic Flexible Learning Centre is a coeducational Catholic school in the Edmund Rice tradition under the EREA Youth&#43; Central West Flexi Schools Network. It has a clear commitment to social justice and stands in solidarity with disadvantaged young people of all social, cultural and religious backgrounds, with a particular sensitivity to Indigenous culture. The school provides holistic learning experiences that address the social needs of students and promotes their emotional, cognitive, spiritual and academic development.</p><h4>About the Opportunities</h4><p>EREA Youth&#43; now has multiple exciting and rewarding opportunities for two Secondary Teachers and one Special Needs Teacher to join the team at St Joseph&#39;s Catholic Flexible Learning Centre on a full-time basis.</p><p>To be considered for these positions you must hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Teaching, and be eligible for registration with the Northern Territory Teacher Registration Board in addition to at least 4 years experience in a diverse Secondary educational environment.</p><h5>Secondary Teachers</h5><p>Reporting to the Campus Principal and the Network Principal, these Secondary Teacher roles will see you responsible for implementing teaching strategies that cater to the needs of secondary-aged students who have disengaged from mainstream education, encouraging a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.</p><h5>Special Needs Teacher</h5><p>Reporting to the Campus Principal and the Network Principal, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, delivering and supporting other teachers in the delivery of effective social inclusion, learning and teaching programs for young people, based on individual learning levels, abilities and learning plans. </p><p>Secondary experience is highly regarded, however, candidates with significant experience in Primary with a view to progressing into Secondary are welcomed to apply.</p><h4>About the Benefits</h4><p>This is a fantastic opportunity to become involved in a multidisciplinary and supportive workplace while reaping the incredible rewards that arise from the challenges faced day to day. In addition, EREA Youth&#43; also provides ongoing professional development opportunities.</p><p>Please note: Prior to commencement, you must obtain an OCHRE Card (NT Working with Children Clearance).
