<h4><b>About the Organisation</b></h4><p>Children First is a community-based not-for-profit group of Children’s Centres and Family Support Services that provides preschool, long day care, occasional care, before and after school care, and vacation care services in the Blacktown area.</p><p>Dedicated to the education, nurture and care of children in their early years, Children First operates out of six sites and approximately 700 children attend these services in any week. In addition to providing childcare services from its own centres, Children First is funded to operate family support services to centres, families and children across Western Sydney. </p><h4><b>About the Opportunity </b></h4><p>Children First has two exciting opportunities for Early Childhood Teachers to join their professional team, based in Blacktown, NSW. Hours would consist of 1 x 30 hour week (3 x 10 hour days) and 1 x 40 hour week (4 x 10 hour days).</p><p>Reporting to the Centre Manager, working in a well-resourced facility with five rooms catering to 90 children, you will be providing quality childcare for children aged 0 – 5.</p><p>More specifically, some of your key duties will include:</p><ul><li>Liaising with and leading classroom staff on a regular basis;</li><li>Planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate educational programme;</li><li>Leading liaisons with outside organisations and any relevant specialists;</li><li>Interpreting and identifying children&#39;s individual needs and assessing their developmental levels;</li><li>Implementing an anti-bias curriculum that provides a scope of culturally sensitive experiences; and</li><li>Maintaining and implementing preventative measures for effective behaviours management/modification.</li></ul><h4>About the Benefits</h4><p>You&#39;ll be rewarded for your commitment with an attractive remuneration package circa $25-$40/ph (commensurate with skills and experience), plus a generous range of benefits including salary packaging options and an Employee Assistance Program, including counselling support and critical injury support</p><p>Bring your passion for children and families to one of Sydney&#39;s leading community services providers - Apply Now!</p>
