The role is responsible for supporting Aboriginal students within classrooms and the broader school setting as well as enhancing the partnership between families of Aboriginal students and the College and support all staff in matters relating to Aboriginal education.<br></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt">This is a part-time (36 hours per fortnight) temporary position commencing 15 October 2018 until 28 January 2019.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt">Note: This position has a strong involvement with, and requires a deep understanding of the issues relating to and affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, as well as an ability to communicate sensitively and effectively in this regard.&nbsp; The College is committed to increasing the representation of Aboriginal and Torres Islander People within our community, and we welcome applications for this position from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates only. </span><br><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt">This position involves working with children.
