The Padua junior campus (years 7 to 9) is located in Wanniassa, and the St Peter’s senior campus (years 10 to 12) is located 5 km away in Isabella. SMMC has a total of around 2,050 students, and around 220 staff across both campuses.

SMMC has a total of around 2,050 students, and around 220 staff across both campuses.</p><p><strong>About the Role&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong><br>The Reception and Administration Officer position is based at the Padua campus at Wanniassa.</p><p>The Reception and Administration Officer position is a vital support role within the College and its dual campus community. The Reception and Administration Officer is primarily responsible for the reception of visitors to the junior campus, phone reception duties, and whole of College responsibilities for administration.</p><p><strong>Benefits and Opportunities&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>A positive and collaborative workplace culture&nbsp;</li><li>24 weeks of paid parental leave (maternity/adoption)&nbsp;</li><li>Up to 14 weeks of paid parental leave (paternity/non-initial primary carer leave)&nbsp;</li><li>Support for professional development and study opportunities&nbsp;</li><li>Opportunities to transfer to other schools within the Archdiocese across ACT and NSW to support lifestyle choice&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Manage the School reception and the Wanniassa campus switch board</li><li>Build positive relationships with families providing them with information relating to the College.</li><li>Able to exhibit and exercise empathy and understanding for the experience of a parent or carer.</li><li>Manage the booking and administration of bus, coach and other transport and travel requirements for staff and students.</li><li>Liaise with teaching staff where excursions involve the arrangement of transport, and facilities bookings.</li><li>Provide support when needed to the Accounts staff, Fees Manager, and Enrolments Officer.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of college communication to families for mailing.</li><li>Assist with the collection, security, banking and administration of cash and financial instruments received.</li><li>Apply discreet and diplomatic handling of all sensitive and confidential matters.</li><li>Undertake document and records management activities</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Criteria&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration – ACT is a mandatory requirement.</li><li>Certificate or Diploma in or studying towards a business-related discipline would be highly regarded but is not essential.
