Reporting to the Assurance Manager, the  Assurance Advisor supports the design, implementation, and effectiveness of the MACS’ assurance program. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and to mitigate enterprise risks.<br /> </p><p>The Assurance Advisor will work closely with our MACS schools and this role will require a full, current and maintained Victorian Drivers licence and motor vehicle.<br /> </p><p><strong>WHAT YOU WILL DO</strong><br /> </p><ul><li>Prepare clear, concise, and timely reports on assurance findings, including recommendations for corrective actions and opportunities for improvement</li><li>Collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels of the organisation including all MACS schools, to promote awareness and understanding of risk management and control objectives</li><li>Support the development and delivery of training programs to enhance risk awareness and promote a strong risk culture within the organisation</li><li>Provide recommendations for improving control frameworks, policies and procedures based on the findings of control testing activities</li><li>Assist in the identification, documentation, and tracking of control deficiencies, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement corrective action plans</li></ul><p><strong>ABOUT YOU</strong><br /> </p><ul><li>Demonstrated experience in risk management, internal audit or assurance roles within the Education system or similar industry</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in assessing risks, evaluation controls and identifying deficiencies and opportunities for improvement</li><li>Demonstrated experience, assisting in the implementation of assurance programs across a complex, highly regulated organisation</li><li>Understanding and experience working with ISO31000:2018 - Risk Management Guidelines and ISO 9000:2015 Quality Management Systems</li><li>Practical experience in the design and implementation of business improvement strategies and processes with a strong drive for continuous improvement</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively, engage and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels including all MACS school staff and leadership teams</li></ul><p>Salary is commensurate with skills and experience.<br /> </p><p><strong>HOW TO APPLY</strong><br /> </p><p>Please refer to the attached position description for further details about the role and the Key Selection Criteria.<br /> </p><p>Click Apply for Job to submit your application.
