We provide an education based on gospel values. St Anne’s prides itself on being a welcoming community and values home-school partnerships. Create a learning environment which stimulates learning and promotes excellence.</li><li>Communicate in a clear, respectful and professional way in order to optimise each student’s development.</li><li>Identify learner needs, by analysing data and collaborating with specialist staff to create teaching and learning programs.</li><li>Designs and implements lessons using learning intentions and success</li><li>Acknowledges and encourages the needs of students to be both challenged and supported.</li><li>Provide timely and useful feedback about completed assessment items to students.</li><li>Fulfil all requirements relating to assessment and its documentation.</li><li>Maintain professional confidentiality on information about students.</li><li>Be proficient in the use of IT as a teaching and administrative tool.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p><ul><li>A commitment to uphold the Catholic ethos;</li><li>Ability to maximise student learning and engagement through the delivery of various teaching strategies, employing effective and high impact pedagogical practices;</li><li>Capacity to work collegially with a range of people and to evaluate professional practices for improvement;</li><li>Strong commitment to participating in the School’s pastoral care program and building positive relationships; and</li><li>Active and continuous professional learning that is relevant to their specific discipline, as well as concerns and debates in the education sphere more generally.</li><li>Appropriate qualifications and demonstrated experience in the teaching arena, Years 7-12.</li></ul><p>Please refer to the role description for an in-depth detail regarding criteria and skill set required.</p><p><strong>Other Eligibility Criteria&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to be eligible to apply for this position.&nbsp;</li><li>Appointment is subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment in accordance with CECG policy.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process</strong></p><p>Applications are invited from interested candidates able to demonstrate a commitment to the vision of Catholic Education.</p><p>Applicants are required to submit a cover letter and current resume including a statement of suitability against the skills, attributes and experience as outlined in the Position Description.</p><p>This position involves working with children.
