The diversity of our community is one of its greatest strengths.</p> <p><strong>Key focus areas</strong></p> <p>The Secondary Teacher will fit the following criteria:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Qualifications and ability to teach secondary 2 Unit Society &amp; Culture and HSIE.</p> </li> <li> <p>Capacity to use formative assessment to support improved learning outcomes.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to differentiate learning to cater for individual student learning needs.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to use CANVAS, our student learning management system.</p> </li> <li> <p>Evidence of engagement in ongoing professional learning.</p> </li> <li> <p>Commitment to team-based, collaborative learning.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to motivate students as successful learners.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong communication and organisational skills ensuring that reporting deadlines are met.</p> </li> </ul> <p>Please respond to the above selection criteria in your cover letter.</p> <p><strong>The Organisation</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 80 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
