<p>An exciting opportunity has become available for a committed and experienced <b>OSHC Director</b> to join the<b> Xavier College Evanston</b> Out of School Hours/Vacation Care Service (OSHC) <b>commencing May 2024</b>. </p><p>The OSHC Director reports directly to the Evanston Head of Campus and is responsible for leading a team of passionate Educators (staff) to implement a recreation and leisure quality OSHC program, that is educational and inclusive to all children attending the Service, based on recognised School Age Care Framework. </p><p>This is a <b>permanent full-time position working 37.5 hours per week </b>and will require the Director to be rostered across the following Service operating hours: </p><ul><li>Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays) </li><li>Before School: 6.30am – 8.30am </li><li>After School: 3.00pm – 6.30pm </li><li>Pupil Free Days: 6.30am – 6.30pm </li><li>Vacation Care: 6.30am – 6.30pm </li></ul><p>For a more detailed description of the <b>Key Responsibilities </b>of the role, please refer to the <a href="https://www.xavier.catholic.edu.au/news-events/employment-opportunities" rel="nofollow">Position Information Document.</a></p><p><b>The successful candidate will have: </b></p><ul><li>A deep passion for the inclusivity, education and care of school aged children </li><li>A commitment to support the Catholic and Salesian ethos of the College </li><li>Ability to develop highly effective relationships with staff, children and families </li><li>A high level of written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Proven experience in effectively supporting and managing staff in a team environment </li><li>High level knowledge and application of the National Quality Framework (NQF) Standards, Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and National Regulations </li><li>Knowledge of the My Time Our Place (MTOP) or Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) </li></ul><p><b>Experience </b></p><ul><li>Previous experience working in an OSHC or Early Childhood setting in a leadership capacity, responsible for staff and children </li><li>Planning, development, implementation and evaluation of appropriate programs for children reflecting the diverse needs of the community </li><li>Operational and financial management skills with exceptional attention to detail and high-level administrative skills </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge and previous administrative experience in an OSHC Service including Child Care Management System (CCMS) and Children&#39;s Services Award</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
