Our school opened in 2022 and we are blessed to have developed a school culture with supportive parents, an amazing and friendly staff group, and fantastic, happy children.</p><p>This is a fixed-term position classified under the 2022 CEMEA as Education Support Category B (dependent on prior experience and skills). The hours of employment for this position will be 30 hours spread over five days. Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience in an Education Support Officer/Learning Support Officer role. </p><p><b>This position will commence on Monday, May 27, 2024 </b>(or as negotiated with the successful applicant).</p><p><b>KEY SELECTION CRITERIA</b><br /></p><p><b>The successful applicant will: </b></p><p>• demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education and Child Safe schools. <br /></p><p>• demonstrate a passion for working with children.<br /></p><p>• demonstrate a capacity to work with children with a range of learning difficulties or social-emotional challenges and nurture their needs.<br /></p><p>• possess a high level of patience and emotional maturity.<br /></p><p>Previous experience will be taken into consideration but is not a pre-requisite.</p><p><i>The successful applicant will be subject to a Working with Children Check and must comply with the school’s Code of Conduct and Child Safe Policy.</i></p><h5>St Lawrence of Brindisi Catholic Primary School is a Child Safe environment.
