<p><b>St Finbar’s is seeking a passionate educator who is dedicated to life-long learning and values working in a team environment. Your role will involve 1 day in class as the sole teacher (every Thursday) to release the Religious Education Coordinator(REC) for Year 1 and 1.5 days (or 3 day fortnight) in addition to the REC release day.</b><br /></p><p><b>The 3 day fortnight days are best on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday (negotiable) and are as an additional teacher for the Year 1 class.</b></p><p>To be successful for this role, you must demonstrate; </p><p>a high standard of competency and proficiency as a classroom teacher </p><p>an ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and the wider community </p><p>excellent communication and organisational skills </p><p>strength in literacy and numeracy teaching for improved student outcomes </p><p>an ability to effectively analyse and utilise data to inform teaching practice </p><p>a capacity to differentiate the curriculum for a diverse range of abilities and learning preferences </p><p>a commitment to creating safe and flexible learning environments that motivate and engage students to be passionate lifelong learners. </p><p>You will have attained: </p><p>Tertiary qualification in Education </p><p>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) </p><p>an Employee ID registration number with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) or a commitment to Register to Teach in SCS.</p><p><br /></p><p>This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance prior to commencement of employment. </p><p>SCS welcomes and encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and candidates with diverse backgrounds. </p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p> </p>
