The Teacher Aide Inclusive Education is employed to assist College teaching staff and the students in their care. You will be required to work as part of a team with the Program Leader – Inclusive Education and teachers to support students with high needs and impairments.

<p>• Continuing, Part Time, Term time role<br /></p><p>• 60 hours per fortnight </p><p>• School Officer Level 3 </p><p>About the role: </p><p>The Teacher Aide Inclusive Education is employed to assist College teaching staff and the students in their care. You will be required to work as part of a team with the Program Leader – Inclusive Education and teachers to support students with high needs and impairments. </p><p>About the contract: </p><p>The position is continuing, part time (60 Hours per fortnight), term time (40 weeks per year). </p><p>About you: </p><p>To be considered for this role you will need: </p><p>• Be committed to the goals, ethos and mission of the College as a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice Tradition. </p><p>• Possess a current Queensland Working with Children Blue Card for paid employees. </p><p>• Certificate III in Education Support is desirable. </p><p>• First Aid Certificate and CPR is desirable. </p><p>• Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills. </p><p>• Display confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitively to students and their families. </p><p>• Ability to work as part of a team to support students with high support needs and impairments. </p><p>• Ability to use initiative and work independently. </p><p>• Ability to supervise small groups of students, undertaking specific learning activities. </p><p>• Display respect and empathy for students with high level needs. </p><p>About our Organisation: </p><p>Ignatius Park College is a boys’-only Catholic secondary school located in Townsville, North Queensland.
