<p>We are seeking a qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Education Support Officer to be part of a professional learning team that can support our students and contribute to the positive culture of our school. </p><p>Position to commence in Term 2 2024. Monday to Thursday but days are negotiable.</p><p>The interview process may commence before the closing date and, if a suitable applicant is found, the role may close early. We encourage applications for the vacancy to be submitted as soon as possible.</p><p><b>Applicants need to: </b></p><ul><li>demonstrate a commitment to the ethos of a Catholic School </li><li>support students, especially those who have additional learning needs and adjustments in accessing the curriculum </li><li>work under the direction of the classroom teacher, within flexible learning spaces</li></ul><p><b>Special Requirements</b></p><p>The successful applicant will need to have: </p><ul><li>Experience working in schools as an ESO </li><li>Working With Children Check</li><li>Certificate 11 (or higher qualification) in Education Support<br /></li><li>Current Level 11 First Aid or willingness to gain qualification</li><li>Extra qualifications eg. Certificate 1V in Disability, an advantage</li></ul>
