This role entails overseeing student examination processes, including setup, administration, compliance supervision, during term examination periods in March, August, September, and October-November annually.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><b>Applicants must be available onsite for the following and possibly some single days either side: </b></div><div>• 5 August 2024 – 19 August 2024 </div><div>• 16 September 2024 – 26 September 2024 </div><div>• 15 October 2024 – 8 November 2024</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><b>Additionally, availability is required for various dates as per above between: </b></div><div>• 18 March 2025 – 30 November 2025</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><b>The role: </b></div><div>• Requires onsite examination processes to be conducted during exam times on an intermittent basis. </div><div>• Coordinate or assist with exam setup and administration. </div><div>• Adhere to guidelines provided by relevant education authorities (e.g., NESA) regarding security and administrative procedures. </div><div>• Retrieve exam papers from the designated secure location and ensure their safekeeping until the start of exams. </div><div>• Supervise a team of exam invigilators, including scheduling, briefing, and providing necessary training. </div><div>• Conduct pre-exam briefings for invigilators to ensure understanding of their responsibilities and any special accommodations. </div><div>• Monitor invigilator performance during exams and oversee the proper handling of exam papers upon completion. </div><div>• Implement policies and procedures outlined by educational authorities regarding disability provisions and managing illness/misadventure applications.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><b>The successful applicant will: </b></div><div>• Adhere to guidelines provided by NESA regarding security and administrative procedures. </div><div>• Must be over 18 years of age and possess a valid Working with Children Check for paid employment. </div><div>• Must be available for the entire exam periods in 2024 and 2025. </div><div>• Must not have any relatives (including acquaintances who are children, siblings, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, or cousins) taking the HSC exams at any school. </div><div>• Must not tutor students who are taking the HSC exams. </div><div>• Should demonstrate proficiency in common computer programs and tasks, such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, handling emails, and downloading documents. </div><div>• Should exhibit strong organisational skills and attention to detail. </div><div>• Must be capable of effectively managing students. </div><div>• Retrieve exam papers from the designated secure location and ensure their safekeeping until the start of exams. </div><div>• Demonstrate a clear understanding and commitment to the Mission of the Catholic School. </div><div>• Adhere to the Colleges Safeguarding Standards and Child Protection policies and procedures. </div><div>• Be supportive of the Lasallian ethos of the College. </div><div>• Be an experienced, innovative, and engaging team member. </div><div>• Be committed to professional growth and development of excellence.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><b>How to Apply: </b></div><div><b>APPLICATION MUST BE MADE ON-LINE VIA THE COLLEGE WEBSITE </b></div><div><a href="https://www.oakhill.nsw.edu.au/employment" rel="nofollow">https://www.oakhill.nsw.edu.au/employment</a></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>To apply for the role, candidates need to submit a covering letter (2 pages maximum) and an up-to-date curriculum vitae that clearly details their relevant skills and experience.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div>Oakhill College is committed to child safety and Safeguarding Standards and the health, safety and wellbeing of our students, staff, and school community.
