We are seeking an outstanding qualified, passionate and experienced High School Music Teacher and Head of Contemporary Music Programs, to commence in an ongoing, full-time role.
<p>Full time ongoing role, commencing from Term 3 2024
</p><p>International Grammar School (IGS) is a vibrant, secular, coeducational school situated across five sites in Ultimo, Glebe and Kangaroo Valley. There are 1300 students from Preschool to Year 12 being educated in a unique bilingual environment.
</p><p>We are seeking an outstanding qualified, passionate and experienced High School Music Teacher and Head of Contemporary Music Programs, to commence in an ongoing, full-time role. A commencement date of Term 3 2024 may be negotiated with the successful applicant, as applicable.
</p><p>You will have a passion for Music and a creative flair, a thorough understanding of the NSW Music Syllabuses, well-developed technology skills, and the capacity to create engaging learning experiences and inspire in your students a love of learning.
</p><p>To be successful in this role you will bring:
</p><p>• Excellence and experience in teaching Music Stages 4-6
</p><p>• Successful experience in teaching HSC Music 1
</p><p>• Experience and creativity in conducting Rock Bands and Contemporary Ensembles
</p><p>• Capacity for collaborating with music teachers to create rehearsal tracks and high quality recordings for rehearsals and performances
</p><p>• High level skills in audio design and mixing
</p><p>• Skills for HSC Accompaniment, with experience preferred (Guitar or Drums Specialisation)
</p><p>• Event Management, with experience preferred
