Marian Catholic College is seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our Canteen team in a part-time capacity (job share may be considered). The Canteen Assistant will be responsible for providing quality canteen and customer service including food production and food preparation.

Ideally, the successful applicant will have their food safety certificate and demonstrate strong customer services skills and interpersonal skills that align with the school vision.</p><ul><li>Provide quality canteen and catering customer service including food production and food preparation duties, counter service and cleaning. </li><li>Provide a clean, hygienic environment for the preparation, storage and safe handling of food.</li><li>Prepare fresh food, on a daily basis, in a limited period of time</li><li>Work with and in support of the Canteen Supervisor </li><li>Follow procedure regarding food preparation and adhere to daily menus. </li><li>The operating of a cash till with the collection of money from students and staff for good purchased. </li><li>Co-operate with the Leadership and Pastoral Teams in organising the ordering and accepting delivery of items for special events being conducted by the College. </li><li>Work Health Safety and infection control (food safety standards). </li><li>Assist with stocktake at the end of Financial Year prior to Audit.</li><li>Assist to ensure efficient service that operates profitably for the benefit of the School </li><li>Be aware of Children with allergies, identifying them by name and photograph, following the Canteens Policy &amp; Procedures.</li><li>Abide by the policies and procedures of Marian Catholic College.</li><li>The Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga (CEDWW) has a duty of care under Work Health and Safety Legislation to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of workers. This includes requirements to eliminate or minimise risks to health and safety.
