Today, a dedicated and professional staff carry on the spirit and traditions of our founders, the Sisters of Saint Joseph.&nbsp; St Therese’s Catholic School operates their own Outside School Hours Care.&nbsp; Families are offered a high level of care by qualified and caring staff.&nbsp; Our centre is located directly next to the school, entering from the bottom car park (Hopkins St), through the gates at the old stable building.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Applications are invited from enthusiastic and suitably qualified candidates for the following position:</p> <p style="text-align: center"><strong>OSHC Program Coordinator</strong></p> <p style="text-align: center"><strong>Ongoing Part Time (0.65 FTE)</strong></p> <p style="text-align: center">Monday - Friday: 1pm – 6pm (52 weeks)<br>Commencing 15 April 2024 or earlier by negotiation<br>25 Hours per week</p> <p>Level 8 – Grade 6 (Educational Services (Schools) General Staff Award 2020)</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>St Therese’s Catholic School operates their own Outside School Hours Care.&nbsp; Families are offered a high level of care by qualified and caring staff.&nbsp; Our centre is located directly next to the school, entering from the bottom car park (Hopkins St), through the gates at the old stable building.</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced and qualified OSHC Program Coordinator to join our team, working within the OSHC centre.</p> <p>The OSHC Program Coordinator will work closely with OSHC staff and under the guidance of the school principal in the delivery of a quality-based program for children attending our service.</p> <p>The position would suit a candidate who has experience in a childcare setting, is well organised and able to work independently and as a member of a team and is able to engage with children and families in an authentic and positive way.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>To be eligible applicants require:</strong></p> <p>Essential</p> <ul> <li>Qualifications or study in Education / Child Care or similar;</li> <li>Valid Working with Vulnerable People Registration;</li> <li>National Police Check;</li> <li>Accreditation A: Accreditation to work in a Catholic school or willingness to work towards.</li> </ul> <p>Desirable</p> <ul> <li>Education sector experience;</li> <li>Proven experience in a similar role; and</li> <li>Current First Aid Certificate and asthma and anaphylaxis training or willingness to undertake training in this area.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>To download an Application Package click the&nbsp;attachments below.
