<p><b>The Opportunity </b></p><p>St Patrick’s College is seeking to employ a full time or part time, ongoing Director of Catholic Identity &amp; Mission. The Director of Catholic Identity &amp; Mission is responsible for implementing the Vision and Mission of St Patrick’s to be a school community of faith, learning, respect, and service in the Catholic tradition and under the guidance of the Principal. Specifically, the Director of Catholic Identity &amp; Mission will develop the initiatives in the strategic plan (Catholic Identity and Mission) and respond to the religious dimension of the Archbishop’s Charter for Catholic schools in Tasmania. </p><p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018. </p><p><b>About You </b></p><p>As Director of Catholic Identity &amp; Mission at the College, you must demonstrate: </p><ul><li>Your high level of understanding of the Catholic ethos of the College and the ability to transform this into practice. </li><li>A commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education and your willingness to participate fully in the life of the College. </li><li>Your ability to deliver effective learning outcomes for students. </li><li>Your skills and experience as an effective pastoral care tutor.</li><li>Your ability to develop and implement curriculum that is engaging and rigorous and founded on evidence-based practice.</li><li>Experience in professional learning and continual improvement. </li><li>Your commitment to and participation in co-curricular programs, camps, and other holistic aspects of College life and details of particular co-curricular interests. </li></ul><p>CET supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing. The successful candidate will require satisfactory registrations relevant to child safety. </p><p><b>About Us </b></p><p>St Patrick’s is a Catholic co-educational Year 7-12 college of approximately 1,500 students with a strong academic culture that encourages individual students to develop to their full potential through a broad educational experience. The College is structured into a three school model of learning, incorporating the Middle School (Years 7 and 8), Croagh Patrick (Year 9) and Senior School (Years 10-12). While each School has unique features and purposes, the tapestry which forms our College binds us together in academic, social justice and co-curricular excellence for all students.
