As a culturally diverse community, Ignatius Park College strives to be a place of tolerance and understanding, promoting both Christian and civic ideals. </p><p>About the contract: </p><p>The position is continuing - full time (60 Hours per fortnight). </p><p>About you: </p><p>To be considered for this role you will need: </p><p>• Be committed to the goals, ethos and mission of the College as a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice Tradition. </p><p>• Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers. </p><p>• Relevant qualifications in Education. </p><p>• Accreditation to Teach Religion in a Catholic School (Teachers of Religious Education) or willingness to achieve. </p><p>• Proven experience working in an educational setting with an understanding of the ethos of Catholic Education. </p><p>• Sound knowledge of school operations and relevant policies and procedures. </p><p>• Proven experience implementing learning that meets Australian National Curriculum and Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority requirements. </p><p>• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement. </p><p>• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and conflict resolution skills when dealing with multiple stakeholders, including students, staff, parents and the wider college community. </p><p>• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and use initiative and self direction where required. </p><p>• Excellent organisational, administrative and time management skills. </p><p>• Intermediate computer skills and the ability to use Microsoft office products as well as school database management systems. </p><p>About our Organisation: </p><p>Ignatius Park College is a boys’-only Catholic secondary school located in Townsville, North Queensland.
