We are seeking a permanent, full time Teacher, to teach History (High School and Senior College) and some English (High School), to commence from the beginning of Term 2.

<p>We are seeking a permanent, full time Teacher, to teach History (High School and Senior College) and some English (High School), to commence from the beginning of Term 2. </p><p>Applications will be assessed as they are received. Please apply as soon as possible if you are interested in the position. </p><p>About You </p><p>The successful candidates will require: </p><ul><li>excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire young people </li><li>the skills and attitude to work collaboratively in a dynamic team setting </li><li>a willingness to implement, support and promote the School’s Steiner ethos </li><li>a strong commitment to student wellbeing </li><li>a willingness to be involved in the wider life of the School; and </li><li>understanding of the Australian Curriculum. </li></ul><p>You must also: </p><ul><li>hold a teaching qualification </li><li>hold ACT TQI registration </li><li>hold a current WwVP registration </li><li>undergo a National Police Record Check </li><li>be eligible to work in Australia. </li></ul><p> </p><p>We welcome and encourage all candidates with teaching qualifications and experience teaching history to apply. While Steiner experience or qualifications are not essential, a willingness to learn is required. Support and guidance will be provided to successful candidates without a Steiner background.<br /></p><p>Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the <i>Independent Schools NSW Teachers (Hybrid Model) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021. </i></p><p><i>Orana Steiner School is committed to the safety and wellbeing of its students in accordance with the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and child safety legislation.
