LEADER OF LEARNING & TEACHING: LITERACY 3-6 We are seeking a dynamic, passionate educator, who enjoys collaborating and growing professionally to join our Leadership Team at Lumen Christi Catholic Primary School. <p><b>Lumen Christi is an integral part of the faith community of Point Cook and is one of five parish primary schools within Holy Trinity Parish. Lumen Christi is governed under the authority of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Limited (MACS) ABN 18643442371. MACS is the employer of employees at Lumen Christi.</b></p><p>We are seeking applications for a dynamic and experienced Literacy Leader (3-6). The successful applicant is offered a full-time, ongoing teaching position.</p><p>At Lumen Christi we hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children as a central and fundamental responsibility of our school.</p><p>We consider that a positive approach to behaviour support is essential to foster a school climate within which personal responsibility and self-discipline will be developed.</p><p>Lumen Christi has 28 grades with an enrolment of approximately 685 students. Our staff are skilled educators with strong Catholic values who work to provide contemporary learning and teaching within a collaborative professional culture.</p><p>We are seeking enthusiastic, positive and collaborative educators, willing to work within a flexible and creative learning environment.</p><p>We are seeking an experienced<b> </b>Literacy Leader, with sound knowledge and expertise in Literacy Learning and Teaching pedagogies. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate their ability to work as a collaborative team member (leadership, staff, families and students) willing to work within a flexible and creative learning environment.</p><p>Collaboration with teaching staff to design, develop and implement High Impact Teaching Strategies in contemporary Literacy practices in keeping with the School Improvement Plan. Candidates must have an ability to plan, work and learn in a team environment. They must also have excellent classroom management skills and have a commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education and contemporary pedagogies.</p><p> </p><p>The Literacy Leader (3-6) will report to the Principal and work closely with key curriculum leaders. The Literacy Leader will collaborate with the Deputy Principals, to monitor school learning and teaching goals, accountability and responsibilities in the management and organisation of curriculum standards (including but not limited to intervention and extension).<br /></p><p><b>Salary Range: </b>$80,000 - $130,000 Based on experience in accordance with the Teacher scale of the Victorian Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2018 (VCEMEA)Special Requirements</p><p><b> </b></p><h5><b>Special Requirements</b></h5><ul><li>Bachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualification </li><li>VIT registered and accredited (preferred) Catholic Primary Teacher </li><li>Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a collaborative team situation </li><li>Knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum </li><li>Personalised/ differentiated learning philosophy and demonstrated practice </li><li>Inquiry-based learning knowledge </li><li>An ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, families, and colleagues </li><li>An ability to create an engaging, educational, and challenging learning environment that caters for the needs of all students </li><li>An enthusiasm to implement a differentiated curriculum and use modern technology to support student learning </li><li>Ability to plan, implement and assess individual learning programs that cater for individual difference and need (enabling and extending) </li><li>Experience with, or Professional Learning in PBL (Positive Behaviours for Learning) and/or Berry Street an advantage </li><li>Ability to work with, and commitment to parent/ school partnership </li><li>Strong commitment to the philosophy of Catholic Education and to the Vision of Lumen Christi Catholic Primary School </li><li>Ability to work and share in a vibrant school community</li></ul><h5><b>Application Procedures </b></h5><p>1.
