<p><b>Inclusion Support Assistant (Secondary Campus)
</b></p><p>This is a casual position, during school term, school days ONLY (25 hours a week)</p><p>The successful applicants will be working collaboratively with teachers to assist students in achieving their individual educational goals and supporting them in programs set by the teachers. This includes working with students on an individual basis and within small groups, across all subject areas in the Secondary Campus.</p><p><b>Education Requirements:
</b></p><ul><li>Year 12 Certificate
</b></p><ul><li>Commitment to contribute to the mission and Catholic ethos of the College
</li><li>Capacity to support students with Literacy and Numeracy needs
</li><li>Capacity to build positive relationships with students and staff
</li><li>Current Ochre Card (or ability to obtain one)
</li><li>Sound communication skills, both oral and written
</b></p><ul><li>Ability to acquire quickly an understanding of the operations of the school
</li><li>Work experience in an educational setting
</li><li>Cert IV in Education Support or Diploma in Education Support
</li><li>Working towards a relevant diploma or degree

St Joseph's is a Catholic College, founded in 1987, and situated in Katherine, approximately 3 hours south of Darwin. The College is a co-educational day school providing quality Catholic education from Transition to Year 12. It also offers education to children 3-5 years old in its Early Learning Centre. The College is set on 16 hectares with modern buildings and landscaped gardens. The College currently has an enrolment of approximately 300 students and 55 staff members.
